Women Museum – Bait Al Banat is a unique cultural initiative in the heart of Dubai that celebrates the achievements and legacy of Emirati women throughout history. Through exhibitions, archives, and interactive displays, the museum highlights the vital contributions of women to the UAE’s cultural, social, and economic development.

Since its establishment in 2012, the ICCROM Regional Centre in Sharjah, UAE, has played a crucial role in advancing ICCROM’s mission in the Arab region by promoting regional collaboration, community engagement, and cultural heritage advocacy. The Centre supports the protection of architectural and archaeological heritage, including historic sites, monuments, and collections, and works to enhance the capacity of heritage institutions for sustainable management.

It achieves this through training programs, capacity building, field activities, workshops, and knowledge sharing. The Centre operates in partnership with Arab Member States, with generous support from His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, alongside other contributors.

Al Shindagha Museum is situated in the historic Al Shindagha Neighbourhood – a neighbourhood of over 162 historic houses that witnessed the growth of modern Dub.

The Museum is divided into 22 pavilions spread over 80 houses, each one exploring a different aspect of Dubai’s unique cultural heritage.

The Museum of the Future is the first museum of its kind. One of the most complex and ambitious projects ever executed, with an instantly iconic inimitable exterior. The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) offers a unique cultural experience, featuring activities such as traditional Emirati meals, mosque visits, and guided heritage tours in the heart of Old Dubai.
