Women Museum – Bait Al Banat is a unique cultural initiative in the heart of Dubai that celebrates the achievements and legacy of Emirati women throughout history. Through exhibitions, archives, and interactive displays, the museum highlights the vital contributions of women to the UAE’s cultural, social, and economic development.

Since its establishment in 2012, the ICCROM Regional Centre in Sharjah, UAE, has played a crucial role in advancing ICCROM’s mission in the Arab region by promoting regional collaboration, community engagement, and cultural heritage advocacy. The Centre supports the protection of architectural and archaeological heritage, including historic sites, monuments, and collections, and works to enhance the capacity of heritage institutions for sustainable management.

It achieves this through training programs, capacity building, field activities, workshops, and knowledge sharing. The Centre operates in partnership with Arab Member States, with generous support from His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, alongside other contributors.

Bayt Al Khanyar museum gives a glimpse of treasured historical mementos of our local culture. “Bayt Al Khanyar” in translation means “House of Daggers” displays a large collection of Daggers worn by several generations of UAE rulers and citizens as part of their Emirati attire. We here at Bayt Al Khanyar want to highlight the importance of the Emirati culture and how it remains an integral part of the UAE.

The museum is a showcase that connects the past and the present of the coffee world. Different roasting and brewing styles from various countries are live demonstrated as well as GROUND FLOOR international antique items are represented. Coffee lovers can buy related items from our Museum shop.

The Museum is divided into 22 pavilions spread over 80 houses, each one exploring a different aspect of Dubai’s unique cultural heritage.

A dynamic 21st century museum, Etihad Museum is focused on inspiring its visitors with the story of the founding of the UAE. The 25,000 m2 landmark is befittingly located at the very place where the UAE was founded in 1971. Through a unique visitor journey, the various pavilions house experience-driven exhibitions, interactive programmes and education initiatives that explore the chronology of events that culminated in the unification of the Emirates in 1971, with a key emphasis on the period between 1968 and 1974. The programmes also aim to educate visitors about the nation’s constitution, in particular – the rights, privileges, and responsibilities that it bestows upon the people of the UAE.

The Museum of the Future is the first museum of its kind. One of the most complex and ambitious projects ever executed, with an instantly iconic inimitable exterior. Rising 77-metres above the ground and comprising 1,024 unique stainless steel composite panels, the façade is adorned in Arabic calligraphy, displaying three quotes written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.

The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) offers a unique cultural experience, featuring activities such as traditional Emirati meals, mosque visits, and guided heritage tours in the heart of Old Dubai.
